Giraffe Stamp with A Guest Designer

Hi Get Inky fans my name is Dawn and I am so excited to be invited as a guest designer today.  Thanks so much for having me!

I am happily married to my best friend and am blessed with the sweetest daughter anyone could ask for.  I have been a card maker for 15+ years.

I started my blog, Designs By Dragonfly, a little over a year ago to share my creations.
When I received the email invite I knew exactly which of my wonderful BMC Get Inky stamps I was going to use.  A few months back I won one of the fun "Get Inky Challenges" and I received a 3 month subscription to the "Inky Moonbeams Club".  Thia sends out wonderful digital stamps to play with, a newsletter with games, projects and lots of other fun things included.

When she switched stamp manufacturers she asked us for our addresses so she could send us a sample to play with.  I was over the moon when I received this sweet Stand Tall Baby Giraffe stamp set.  Isn't she ADORABLE?

Thank you, Dawn for being our Guest Designer today

Monday Morning Mojo Mention

Hi! Susan R here!

I have just been looking at the entries for our current Challenge - Using Die Cuts

There are some truly inspirational projects there - do take a look!

I have chosen to spotlight this one:

This is by Theresa Dickinson who says

"This is my DT card for this weeks challenge over on Divasbydesigns for bundle of joy, which an all new member of family is a joy. Using quite a few different dies to make the card base, side ribbon edge threader dies and 2 die-cut frames for stamped image which also got embossed to give more effect. Then with  afew flowers and dazzlers and bow and sentiment to finish it. Behind the criss cross ribbon I embossed too, but then matted silver card behind the panel to that silver shows through the whole die-cutting bit."

I love this card - from the die-cut corners of the card base to the criss cross ribbon!

I hope you too find it inspirational and will join us at Get Inky! Die-Cut Challenge

Please take a look at our DT cards too! On my blog I am showing
two simple ideas using my Silver Bullet die cutting machine.

You will find ideas from the rest of the team if you scroll down through the posts...

Looking forward to seeing your make!!
Happy Crafting!

Die Cut Challenge - A Patriotic "Thank You"

Hi, to all our Get Inky! family and friends!!!

Kathy here to share with you a project I did a few weeks ago as a "Thank You" for a very special lady in my life . . . and with her favorite colors being Patriotic, what better stamp set to use that the new Patriotic mini stamp set from Get Inky! Stamps. And since the new challenge over at Get Inky! Challenge being "die cuts", I also thought this card would be a great way to show you that not all die cuts are about flowers or lacey shapes.  There are actually die cuts from Spellbinders that cut A2 cards (Spellbinders Nestabilities Card Creator Basic A & Basic B), which is what I used for parts of this card.

Supplies:
"Patriotic" mini stamp set by Get Inky! (aka Blue Moon Creations)
Cobalt Archival Ink by Ranger
Ruby ink by Close to My Heart
Smooch Pearlized ink in Gold/Yellow and Red
"Holly Jolly” brad pearls by TPC

After stamping my star with blue ink, I colored it with Smooch Pearlized ink and did the outline of the star in gold . . . it is light enough that it is hard to get a good picture of it, but it's there.  I then fussy-cut it and glued it to my card with Helmar Scrap Dots 3D adhesive. All-in-all I think it turned out to be a pretty simple CAS card.

Remember, you still have time to get your "die cut" projects in to be eligible for the prize from Get Inky! Challenge! (aka BMCCS) . . . whether it be flowers, stars, lacey shapes or even an A2 card shape. In fact, there's even an A2 Fancy RibbonThreader die cut from Spellbinders that I am dying (no pun intended) to use. :)

So let's Get Inky!!!

Till the next time I'm up in the night.

Get Inky Die Cut Challenge #11

Hello Everyone and Happy Thursday!
Today The Scrapbooking Queen has a CAS (clean and simple) card
just for you and it was created using  die punches to keep along with
the present Get Inky Challenge  theme.
The Queen also used the Circle of Love Stamps
How cute is this card to give with a bridal gift or just a sweet note
to a good friend or loved one.
They are very easy card to create just take any punch that matches
your stamps size ~ The Queen used the flower one for the base and
then use a very small circle for the center.
On a square piece of paper you first stamp your sentiment,
then add your pre~stamped dies raising them up on foam square.

That how easy they are to create these little cards. Now make sure you join us for
our Die Challenge happen now just click >>> (HERE)
Thanks for stopping by!

Dt Judy - Inspiration Die Cuts

Judy here! This is my die cut card for the current challenge at Get Inky!.  The teddy bear with cupcake and sentiments are from Get Inky's collection of rubber stamps. The set has 7 sentiments, the bear with the cupcake and many party favour stamps. Lots of possibilities with this set and you can purchase it here.

I layered my stamped image over a die cut by Spellbinder that I wove a ribbon around and then I added a kite and a balloon die cut from the Up Up and Away set by Spellbinder.  The balloon and kite were then stamped with the sentiment.

There is still lots of time left on this challenge.  I hope you will join in.
