Fabulous Floral Fun Inspiration

Here's my take on the Fabulous Floral Fun challenge............

 

I used Blue Moon Creation's Buzzing Bees Stamp Set for this little cutie.  The stamp set has a flower included, but no leaves/stems.  So I got creative.  :-)  The set includes two 'bee tracks,' one dashed and one solid lined.  I took the solid 'tracks' and inked just the portion I wanted and stameds the 'stems and leaves,' then stamped the flower on top.   Perfect!!   After I added the bee and his trail, I used distress inks (Salty Ocean & Mowed Lawn) to color the background.  The flowers and bee were colored with distress and Copic markers.  Pearls were added to the centers to give the card some dimension.  A touch of icicle Stickles to finish the bee's wings.

Do you remember falling in love?  First dates?  Where did you fall in love with your "honey"?  

Today's card is all about bling & love!  Can you find all the sparkle and bling on this card?  There is even sparkle on the fluffy clouds & flower stems.  Did you see the ring on her finger too?   ツ

Tonya here sharing with you a card I created with one of the Get Inky! Stamp Sets, Sew Sweet Cupcakes.  This card was inspired by the Get Inky! Challenge.  I made this for my little girl, who will be 15 this month.  =)

Have a Rockin' Birthday!

Have you all been getting inky lately?! If not, make sure to join in our current challenge - it's all about bling! My favorite. :) Life is always better with a little sparkle!

This challenge inspired me to create a birthday card for my sister. I used the 'Happy Birthday' sentiment from the Joyful Jar Drinks stamp set.

The plaid paper is from Recollections (bought it forever ago in a single sheet sale - so happy to finally use it) and cut the guitar with my Cameo. Added some twine around the border and blinged up the guitar a bit - and ta da!

I also added a chipboard musical note that I added covered in Silver Ice Stickles to match the glittered accents on the guitar. Stickles are my favorite!
