Green Beer Inspiration

Hi everyone!  Lyne here, from Lynn's Everyday Ideas, with your latest challenge inspiration.
My family is not Irish, but you can't help hear about green beer so that's where my inspiration came from. I used Get Inky's jar and handle to create a beer mug and then used a blending tool to ink it a light green.  The shamrocks are cut from patterned paper.  I attached the mug to the card using an action wobble.  It made me think of people having to much and sloshing their mug around...silly I know!
Can't wait to see what you create!

DT Lyne's Halloween Button Card

Good Morning Get Inky Fans...Lyne here with your button challenge inspiration of the day!  Okay...that was a bit perky even for me, and my nickname in school was Snapple because I was always chipper like the Snapple lady from the commercials.  I just can't help but be happy today because as I type this the sun is shinning enough that DH and DS are outside playing!  For anyone with a three year old you know how much this means.  I digress though and on to my Get Inky project.
I used a yard of ribbon and the Get Inky 2013 Halloween set to create this fun card. I wove the ribbon like a messy web and used the button as the "prey" that the spider caught.  The stamps were also just the right size to give the spider some friends without it being too busy.  I share more details about why I'm doing a Halloween card in February if you'd like to pop over to my blog and take a read.
As always though I can't wait to see what you create for the button challenge...Get Inky has so many talented fans!

DT Member Beth ~ Challenge # 7 Stamp With Bleach

Hi, Beth here from The Crafty Scrap Yard!

Today's card is inspired from our "Stamp with Bleach" challenge!  I was not familiar with this technique prior to this challenge.  I learned there are different types of techniques and ways to stamp with bleach.  For this challenge I stamped my image with ink and then applied embossing powder.  I then heat embossed the image and then applied a diluted bleach on my image to highlight the areas I chose.  I enjoyed trying this technique and would like to do it again along with trying out some of the other applications I found out about.

My design:

More details about my card can be found on my blog here.

I used Beary Special Cupcake stamp set for my stamp & sentiment.  You can find out more about our current challenge, posted on our Get Inky! Challenge Blog.

I hope you stop back soon again to visit soon. ♥♥(ˆ◡ˆ)♥

DT Member Beth ~ Challenge # 11 Bugs

Hi, Beth here from The Crafty Scrap Yard!

Today's card is inspired for our "Bugs Challenge!
For this challenge I decided to stamp one of the butterfly stamps from the Love Bugs stamp set, It is one of my favorite sets!

I planned on making a card, but as I began putting papers together I decided the butterfly went best on this particular sheet; and it would be best as a layout.  I desperately need to do layouts, so it was perfect!  =)

More details about my card can be found on my blog here.

For my card I used the Love Bugs stamp set for the greeting; you can both find here.  You can find out about our current challenge posted on our Get Inky! Challenge Blog.

DT Member Beth ~ Challenge # 6 Boys/Men Challenge

Hi, Beth here from The Crafty Scrap Yard!

Today's card is inspired from our challenge "Boys/Men Challenge!!   Masculine cards can be difficult to create for many & they can be for me too!  But once you start on them they get easier.

This card does not reflect my Father in anyway other than the "Miss you" sentiment!  He lives back in the Midwest but we talk often and we see each other throughout the year.  I found the svg and it fit the challenge and reflects the Southwest where I live.  I then began picking out paper & piecing together colors that complimented each other.   I really like how it turned out and could see this card used for multiple occasions throughout the year.

More details about my card can be found on my blog here.

For my card I used the Sew Sweet Cupcakes stamp set which you can find here.  You can find out about our current challenge posted on our Get Inky! Challenge Blog.

With Heartfelt Sympathy

Big wave to everyone from the Netherlands.
I'm Angelique and you can find me on EngelDesignsScrap

On our Get Inky! Challenge Blog we have a sketch challenge, which will run untill 4/14.

I know we all enjoy crafting and like to do that with a smile upon our faces.
However sometimes it's not all rosebuds and sunshine.

For my sympathy card I've used the Heartfelt Sympathy Banner.
The flower is made of black 120gr. paper.
The Cardstock I got from the market and it has a realy nice structure.
The moment I saw it, I just knew it would be perfect for my card.

As this is a sympathy card, I didnt want to add much embelishments.
Just clean and simple.

Now its your turn. Remember you have 3 days left to join us.
Hop on over to our Get Inky! Challenge Blog and show us your creativity.
Lets Get Inky!

Huggsss, Angelique
