Spooky.......... Ribbons

Happy Friday!

 

 

Tonya here with my creation using Get Inky! stamps by Blue Moon Creation. 

 

I LOVE the new holiday stamp sets. 

 

 

For this little card, I used the Spooktacular Halloween Set.  

 

I started with a black cardstock base (4.25' x 5.5').  The haunted house background print is from a 4.5 x 6.5 DCWV mat stack.  I tied a small bow of 3 Girl Jam's Hot Chocolate for a touch of fun.

I used the new shaded lilac distress marker by Ranger to color the candi dots (top left).  After coloring, I stickled them. 

 

The cute monster was stamped and painted with Stickles, to match the candi.

 

 

 

The word 'spooky' is also from this stamp set.   I stamped it in Memento tuxedo black ink and went over it with a Spica pen to add some sparkle.

Summer is finally here in my neck of the woods.  I have had to resort to turning on the AC so the kiddos have a comfortable sleeping temperature. 

 

Speaking of Summer, Get Inky's current challenge is "Summer Sun Fun."  What is more Summery than ice cream and love.....

 

 

 

 I love how this card turned out. 

 

 

I used Blue Moon Creations' Sew Sweet Cupcakes Stamp Set. 

 

 

This is one of my favorite stamp sets.  It is so versatile.  I love it.

Red, White, & Blue with Tonya

  Our theme this challenge is Red, White, & Blue.

HERE'S my layout.............

Each year our small city has a fireworks show on the lake. And every year, we take the kids. So I thought I'd start putting the pictures in a scrapbook. =) This will be the first page.

I take my inpsiration from my paper and sketchs. So when I ran across this Mojo Monday sketch, I thought PERFECT.

For the basic layout, I imported the sketch into my Silhouette Studio Software and created all the shapes.

I used Get Inky's Joyful Jar Drinks set. The stamps gave just the right amonut of interest for this piece. The stamps (Love, Life, & Live) are actually three seperate stamps. So I placed them on my paper, between the stripes where I liked them. Then, I used my stamp press and was able to stamp them repeatedly without any adjust to the stamps' placement.

I used the same technique to stamp them on the bottom left corner of my layout. I also added the three dots from the Joyful Jar Drinks stamp set.
