Copics and Cardstocks

Hey there Inky Moonbeams! Top of the mornin' to ya! Today I am going to share with you the importance of cardstock choices when coloring with Copic markers. A big problem is the wrong type of cardstock will soak up your markers and then it will appear as if you colored out of the lines. Good cardstock for Copics won't do that. (X-press It Blending and Neenah are my favorites.) Check out this card I created yesterday on plain old cardstock...
The colors are dull, it sucked up my ink leaving it splotchy, just not that pretty.
Now take a look at this one that I colored a few weeks ago and used Neenah cardstock...

Can you see the difference in the brightness of colors? Next time you are about to color an image, test your cardstock first to make sure your Copics work with your cardstock choice. It truly makes all the difference!

One last thing before I cut you loose...go link up your St. Patricks Day creations, or anything you've created using only green, over on our Get Inky challenge blog. The Super Inky prize is a GREAT one, so see if you can obtain super inky status! Click on the link at the top under links to get there.
