Ice Cream Love

Happy Tuesday Inky! Fans

Summer is finally here in my neck of the woods.  I have had to resort to turning on the AC so the kiddos have a comfortable sleeping temperature.

Speaking of Summer, Get Inky's current challenge is "Summer Sun Fun."  What is more Summery than ice cream and love.....

I love how this card turned out.

This is one of my favorite stamp sets.  It is so versatile.  I love it.

Summer is Here - Who's Ready for a Party?

'Ello all. Susan here with a Summer Fun project for Get Inky! Stamps Summer Challenge. Summer to me means time with Family and Friends. The motto is "It's 5'Oclock Somewhere". After a long week this definitely applies. I used the Joyful Jars set  that you can find on the Blue Moon Creations website. I wanted invitations for a get together and this was so much fun to work with. Here it is:

I love the puffy paint I used to make the beer froth and the Stickles to make the beverage. I am thinking you could change this up and make a cup of cocoa and the card using Holiday colors for a get together in December. This is how versatile this set is!! I thank you for stopping by and hope you will share your own summer fun card at the Get Inky! Stamps Summer Challenge. Until next time....

The current challenge is SUMMER! Here is my card using the Get, Inky! Stamps Buzzing Bees stamp set!

Using a variety of patterned papers, I created a beach scene card. Along with one of the adorable bees from the Get, Inky! Stamps Buzzing Bees stamp set, I used a few of the words to create the sentiment banner. And of, course I had to play with words and create BEE-CH with stickers to finish the pun!

Are you dying to create a card or layout with your Get Inky! Stamps,
but can't figure out just how you are going to put your card or layout together.
Well, what I do when I'm stumped and my mojo has go go'd, I look at sketches from Mojo Monday or Operation Write Home. I pick one out that I like and then use it as my template for my project.

I used Mojo Monday's 300 Sketch as my template for this card.

The sentiments are from the Get Inky! Love Bug Stamp Set that will be shipping out to our customers at the end of this month!

I'm entering this card in the Mojo Monday #300 Challenge.

Speaking of challenges, don't forget we have a new challenge starting over on our challenge blog, we'd love it if you'd join us!

Until next time, have fun and Get Inky!

Red, White, & Blue with Tonya

Happy Wednesday
Our theme this challenge is Red, White, & Blue.
HERE'S my layout.............
Each year our small city has a fireworks show on the lake. And every year, we take the kids. So I thought I'd start putting the pictures in a scrapbook. =) This will be the first page.
I take my inpsiration from my paper and sketchs. So when I ran across this Mojo Monday sketch, I thought PERFECT.
For the basic layout, I imported the sketch into my Silhouette Studio Software and created all the shapes.
I used Get Inky's Joyful Jar Drinks set. The stamps gave just the right amonut of interest for this piece. The stamps (Love, Life, & Live) are actually three seperate stamps. So I placed them on my paper, between the stripes where I liked them. Then, I used my stamp press and was able to stamp them repeatedly without any adjust to the stamps' placement.

I used the same technique to stamp them on the bottom left corner of my layout. I also added the three dots from the Joyful Jar Drinks stamp set.

DT Member Beth ~ Challenge # 7 Red, White & Blue

Hi, Beth here from The Crafty Scrap Yard!

Today's card is inspired from our "Red, White & Blue challenge!  This month we celebrate Independence Day, commonly known as the Fourth of July.  On July 4th, 1776 the Declaration of Independence was adopted as the United States   declared independence from Great Britain.

The Fourth of July is often celebrated with family, events, ceremonies, picnics, parades, fireworks and traditions of the United States.  Independence Day is the National Day of the United States.  I am thankful for my Independence & our Nations freedom, Home of the Brave!!
